Global Kids

Starting in 2013 under the name Fab Lat Kids, the project was originally targeted toward youth in Latin America. Over time, its reach expanded to Asia, then Africa, evolving into Global Kids by 2017.

Thanks to the support of the international Fab Lab Network and virtual gathering spaces, the initiative connects children across the globe with international peers to collaborate on human-centered digital fabrication projects.

Children connect across regions through local Fab Labs and remote learning spaces.

The project is supported by partner labs and volunteers across the global network.
